Maintenance Person With Level 2 Electrical Installation
Job Description
Experienced maintenance person with level 2 electrical installation required to work within the Powis Hotels group (3 hotels in Torquay). Candidate must have level 2 BS 7671 electrical installation certificate (we will need a copy of this).
The hotels have an ongoing refurbishment programme in place, therefore a good all round maintenance person is required. Good communication skills as well as a driving licence are essential. This is a physically demanding role.
Duties to include:
- Carrying out any electrical work as required
- General maintenance of the hotels
- Decorating
- Undertaking repairs
- Moving and assembling furniture where required
- Carry out aesthetic repairs such as repainting areas within the properties
- Carry out ongoing refurbishment works including bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas.
- Weekend working is required on a rotation basis
There is a company vehicle for travel between sites, however there are times you will be required to use your own vehicle as the van may be in use.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 17.50 per hour
