Maintenance Person/Relief Lorry Driver
Hillside Animal Sanctuary , located at Frettenham is looking for a General Maintenance Person who can also drive a lorry to cover emergencies i;e transporting large animals. The role will require the ability to work as part of a team but also on an individual basis supporting the other teams at Hillside. The job holder will also be required to conduct a number of varied maintenance tasks while ensuring that all tasks are carried out in the most cost effective manner.
Knowledge of safe working practices and the consideration of best practice and methods of work is essential as well as full drivers licence AND a Lorry Licence
Responsibilities will include
Completing routine maintenance, Fencing/Plumbing/Painting Undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks. Carpentry Grounds keeping Waste removal Transporting animals
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Experience:
Maintenance: 2 years (preferred) Lorry driving : 2 years
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required) Lorry Licence
