5+ years site-based experience in chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or biotech industries
Demonstrable SHEQ experience and commitment
CMMS specialist
Work consistently to high standards and have a high level of attention to detail
Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities to resolve issues
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Ability to work on own or in a Team
Excellent communication skills
Capability and desire to build strong, effective, working relationships at all levels
Strong IT Skills
Experience of SAP is desirable but not essential
Experience of managing small projects is desirable but not essential
Experience of operating and/or maintaining Biotech plants is desirable but not essential
Experience with steam boiler operations is desirable but not essential
Experience of continuous improvement systems is desirable but not essential
What You'll Be Doing:

Complying with all legislative and Croda SHEQ requirements
Ensuring all maintenance and engineering codal compliance tasks are prioritised and completed efficiently
Ensuring the optimum efficiency of work effectiveness by recognising the urgency of tasks and separating reactive and proactive requirements
Investigating (sometimes complex) causes of breakdown and identify and implement corrective action to avoid reoccurrence
Evaluating and scheduling resources (manpower and materials) and co-ordinate tasks and assist in the measurement of performance of maintenance work (Produce KPI'S)
Ensuring accurate records of maintenance tasks are kept up to date
Deputising for the Maintenance Team Manager in their absence
Managing contractor activities as required
