We require a Maintenance Plumber to perform routine and reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance ensuring that plumbing systems function correctly and efficiently, while also adhering to health and safety regulations. We are an established local construction contracting and maintenance company working on sites across Hull & East Yorkshire.

This role involves tasks like repairing leaks, replacing taps, repairing toilets, clearing blockages, and installing new fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance:

Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Repairs:

Repair leaks, burst pipes, blocked drains, and other plumbing issues.

Installations:

Install new plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with building codes and safety regulations.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Emergency Response:

Respond to emergency call-outs, such as broken boilers or blocked drains, as required.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.

Compliance:

Ensure all work meets the requirements of relevant codes and regulations.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used and time spent on the job.

Client Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients, explaining issues, providing estimates, and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed.

Collaboration:

Work effectively with other tradespeople, contractors, and staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Pay: 30,000.00-38,000.00 per year
