We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our Dementia Nursing home and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead maintenance activities effectively. Previous supervisory experience and customer service skills are highly desirable.
Duties
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and infrastructure
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical manuals
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades
Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly
Skills
Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial maintenance environments
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards internal clients
