Penrith Cleaning Services Ltd is a growing cleaning and property support business providing domestic, commercial, and holiday let services across Cumbria. We're now launching an in-house

maintenance division

and are seeking a dedicated individual to help

found and shape this new area of the company

Role Overview

As the

first member of our in-house maintenance service

, you'll lead the way in delivering high-quality, reliable property support across our client base. The role is hands-on and varied, focused on preventative maintenance, light repairs, and ensuring our properties stay guest-ready.

You'll be supported with a

, and work directly with the company director as we grow the service together.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Property Support

Perform minor repairs (e.g., handles, loose fittings, paint touch-ups, adjustments) Carry out guest-ready property checks before arrivals Support basic outdoor work (e.g., leaf clearing, light gardening) Complete seasonal tasks such as gutter clearing, outdoor prep Assist with simple DIY installs (e.g., shelves, blinds, curtain rails) Communicate effectively with clients and internal staff Help document completed tasks (checklists, photos, notes) Advise on maintenance issues or recurring problems Help shape the structure, standards, and tools of the maintenance division
