Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and transformational change? Ipsen is seeking a

Maintenance & Reliability Director

to lead our site's engineering function, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance across all infrastructure and systems.

As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you'll drive innovation, lead a high-performing team, and be the primary interface between our global engineering function and the Wrexham site.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and develop a skilled maintenance and reliability team to meet current and future operational demands. Champion structured maintenance systems (e.g. TPM, Reliability Maintenance) to minimise downtime and maximise system availability. Ensure EHS compliance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices through benchmarking and performance metrics. Oversee infrastructure validation and manage annual shutdowns with minimal business disruption. Support infrastructure investments from a M&R perspective through maintenance user requirements, calibration, validation, and training input.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Significant experience in a Director level position from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably on an FDA approved site Natural leader with the ability to motivate, influence and transform Experience leading large teams of 30+ and managing complex projects.
