With a strong presence in the UK market, the company is looking to expand its engineering team by appointing a skilled

Maintenance Shift Electrician

to support operations at their busy production site in North Kent.

This role is well-suited to an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in fast-paced manufacturing environments (FMCG experience preferred), who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using technical drawings and schematics Ensure optimal machine efficiency and productivity during shift operations Support ongoing improvement initiatives related to safety, efficiency, and reliability Maintain accurate records and reports using relevant software tools Work collaboratively with other maintenance and production staff to minimise downtime

Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong electrical fault-finding skills Familiarity with 3-phase systems (440V) Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Computer literate and comfortable using maintenance software Capable of working both independently and within a small team Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Desirable:

Experience with PLCs and drive systems Previous experience in an FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

Recognised engineering/electrical qualification or completed electrical apprenticeship
