Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring the efficient functioning of machinery and equipment, and implementing preventative maintenance programmes. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent organisational skills to maintain optimal operational performance across all facilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including routine inspections and preventative measures. Oversee repair work on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Manage projects related to equipment upgrades or installations, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and areas for process optimisation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history. Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency. To be part of the on call rota currently in place.

Qualifications

Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams within a hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and building fabric. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting. A multiskilled operative is highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication across teams.
