Salary: 40,649 per annum to 44,825 per annum (London weighted salary) dependant on experience

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Persona: Agile - 1 - 2 days office attendance required.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 17:00

Join our Maintenance Services Team at L&Q:

Maintenance Services are looking for an experienced people manager to fill the role of a Maintenance Supervisor covering South and Southwest including Brixton, Peckham, Lambeth, Southwark and surrounding areas. With the primary responsibility focusing on voids delivery, voids management and voids surveying. You will be required as part of your duties to manage and liaise with contractors. The role reports directly to the Area Voids Manager of the area you are assigned to, you will be part of an experienced supervisory team.

Your impact in the role:

The successful post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of void repairs, pre-inspections, post inspections, compliance and WIP all in line with the standard and KPIs.



You should be confident to give advice and instruction to contractors and operatives on complexed jobs and hard fixes. You will be responsible for interacting and engaging with managers, stakeholders from other areas of the business. You will liaise with the Neighbourhood and caretaking teams as well as contact centre and other supervisors to ensure consistency in service delivery.



You will be confident in managing contractors, meeting regularly with the commercial team, and reporting any relevant information on performance to them.

We expect our supervisor's to have a good understanding of Health and Safety including knowledge of Asbestos, Fire and Hygiene and for them to pass this knowledge on to their teams. Dealing quickly with any breaches or potential problems before they happen.

Sound Health and Safety Knowledge.

Knowledge of trades and maintenance

Knowledge and understanding of the voids process

Understanding of the inspection/surveying process

Affective engagement with other teams both internal and external.

Ability to deliver outstanding customer service

Clear and Concise written and verbal communication skill

Knowledge of schedule of rates

A Full Clear UK Driving license.
