Maintenance Team Leader
to join our Tamworth site. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of engineering support across our manufacturing and distribution operations - driving performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.

This role will work on a
Rotating Shift Pattern
(6am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 6am to 12 noon & 14:30pm to 11:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 11:30am to 17:30pm).
What you'll be doing:
As
Maintenance Team Leader
, you'll lead the day-to-day running of our engineering function-ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational compliance, and safe working practices.
You'll be based in a fast-paced factory environment where
safety always comes first
. The site includes dust, vapour, fumes, and designated noise zones. PPE is provided, and we embed strong EHS principles into everything we do.
Key responsibilities include:
Driving a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture and compliance.
Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensuring adherence to schedules.
Improving plant reliability and efficiency through best practice maintenance techniques.
Leading small engineering projects aligned to LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
Managing critical spares, service contracts, and engineering systems.
Coordinating external contractors, including issuing Permits to Work.
Coaching and developing your team to support succession and growth.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a
proven leader
in a maintenance or engineering setting. You'll be a natural collaborator, able to build strong departmental relationships across Operations, Technical, Quality, and EHS Manager as well as externally with contractors and service providers.
Essential:
Qualified Electrical or Mechanical technician (or equivalent).
Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
