At AO Recycling, we're committed to extracting as much value as possible from the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) that is thrown away by UK households every year. We're growing rapidly and with that growth comes exciting new opportunities to innovate, push boundaries, and lead the way in how the UK recycles its electrical appliances.
Our fully automated fridge recycling plant is the most efficient and advanced in the UK and sets a new standard in recovering metals, plastics, and gases. Did you know we process 100 fridges per hour? That's 700,000 per year! We're also proud to have a second site, a fully automated plastic recycling facility where we combine sink-float technology and electrostatic separation, to turn mixed fridge plastics into high-quality recycled products.
We're looking for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join our Engineering team and help keep our cutting-edge plant running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for delivering planned maintenance, tackling reactive repairs, and driving improvement projects that boost reliability and reduce downtime
You'll be collaborating with production teams and fellow engineers to ensure our equipment performs at its best. If you're proactive, safety-focused, and passionate about engineering excellence, this is your chance to make a real impact.
