We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with electrical certification to join our team. Whether it's fixing faults, keeping downtime to a minimum, or powering up new installations - you'll play a key role in keeping our operations safe, smooth and compliant.

The main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on equipment and plant systems. Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Ensure compliance with all electrical safety regulations. Facilities maintenance (inside and outside). Assist in the clearing of blockages, remove foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, kitchen grease traps etc. and clean up spillages as required. Assist and ensure that gullies, guttering, drains etc. are kept free from debris. Perform wide range of commercial building inspections conversant with fire, legionella and mandatory building H&S requirements. Calibration, maintenance and basic servicing of equipment, undertaking planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work as required. PAT Testing of all electrical equipment. Manual handling, lifting & carrying. The role will include a degree of manual handling so applicants should be physically fit in order to exert moderate physical effort. Occasionally required/engaged in lifting, pushing and pulling of heavy items over 25 kg in weight. Delivery and collection of items using company van. Requirement to work with skilled trades and perform other routine and non-routine work. Operate at all times with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Waste Disposal etc.

Skills and Qualifications:



Level 3 Electrical Installations or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3, or AM2). 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification. Must hold a Full Clean Drivers Licence Fork Lift Licence (2Tonne Counter balance) beneficial but not essential
Knowledge of:

Methods, practices and equipment used in facilities management and activities including variety of building trades work. Tool and equipment used in building maintenance, reconstruction, and repair work. Policies, procedure, regulations and codes related to facility maintenance and repair. Preventative maintenance requirements

Good command of written and spoken English. Proactive attitude and commitment to safe working. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing work conditions. Excellent organisations skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
