to join our Engineering team at our manufacturing facility in Bidford-on-Avon. The ideal candidate will be both mechanically and electrically qualified (ideally BTEC certified) and possess a strong understanding of maintenance practices with excellent attention to detail.
This role is key to maintaining the operational efficiency of our site facilities and production equipment. You'll be expected to work proactively across all areas of the plant, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring we always operate with

in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
Perform statutory testing and maintain accurate records (e.g., fire alarms, PAT testing).
Monitor and maintain stock of critical spares and consumables.
Supervise external contractors on site, ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
Schedule and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance tasks.
Participate in equipment upgrades, modifications, and prototype developments.
Support office moves and internal facility changes.
Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimise downtime.
Recommend and support plant and equipment improvements and upgrades.
Involve yourself in site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Recognised Electrical Qualification -
18th Edition BS7671
(essential)
Experience working in a multi-skilled (mechanical and electrical) maintenance role.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
Basic plumbing skills.
Strong IT skills and computer literacy.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety best practices.
Able to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
Participation in the on-call rota and the Emergency Response team.
Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as required.
Must be a keyholder.
