We are looking for a full-time experienced Maintenance/Engineer Technician with food industry knowledge with an electrical and mechanical background.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery.
Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
Implement and maintain maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Collaborate with project management teams to execute maintenance projects effectively.
Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders to address issues promptly.
Ensuring Engineering Risk Assessments are reviewed annually and amended if required.
complete and update all necessary documentation relating to maintenance in a timely manner, including referencing, SOP's, Risk Assessments, and toolbox talks (if required).
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Experience of engineering both mechanical and electrical in a food environment
Highly organised, self-motivated, with good time management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to work as part of a team, helping achieve the departmental goals.
Ability to accept responsibility and use initiative.
Proactive and energetic.
Focused and an effective communicator
A good understanding and knowledge in H&S and Food Safety desirable.
Knowledge of BRCGS desirable.
