Based at our Worksop site, suitable candidates will work a 2-week rostered day shift pattern (12-hour shifts), covering Monday to Sunday as follows:
Week 1 = Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Week 2 = Wednesday and Thursday
Working hours will average 42 hours per week.
Holiday entitlement is 6.5 weeks (equivalent).
Candidates will need to offer a degree of flexibility and support to cover night shift on occasion, if required, for which their rate of pay will be increased and paid on a hour by hour basis.
The successful candidates (2 positions available) must be multi skilled and will be responsible for the running, introducing and maintaining of equipment together with the development of continuous improvement ideas facilitating these through a number of Lean Manufacturing areas to deliver improvements across the factory.
Responsibilities, personal experiences and attributes will include:
Delivery of planned/predictive maintenance across all production lines and process areas
Facilitation of Continuous Improvement of cross functional teams using a combination of tools and techniques such as TPM, RCM, FMECA, 5's and Kaizen events
Identification and implementation of improvement ideas to achieve world-class standards relating to OEE, H&S and Quality measurements
Optimisation of equipment, addressing both chronic and sporadic issues to reduce losses in efficiency and waste
Adherence to H&S procedures and legislation
Be preferably qualified to HNC/HND level with electrical awareness (18th edition); however, candidates with a full Engineering Apprenticeship will be considered
Quality awareness, decision making and problem-solving skills
Previous experience working in a similar environment
A good working knowledge and understanding of factory processes and technology
A proven ability to plan and prioritize workload in order to meet required deadlines and performance standards; and
Planned and preventative maintenance skills
The successful candidates will be good communicators (both written and oral) possessing interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels across functional teams and departments.
