Maintenance Technician (Leicester and surround )

From 13.90 per hour (equiv basic of 28,912 pa) , plus enhanced overtime rate after 40 hours, Company van, fuel card, mobile phone, tablet and uniform provided. Many other employee benefits including Medicash scheme, Perks at Work .

Would you like to join our fantastic team of Maintenance technicians? Based around the Leicestershire area, you will work across your region, carrying out the repair and service of our top class commercial cleaning equipment.

We will provide full training and support on the best cleaning equipment the industry has to offer. However, you will already have a mechanical/technical mindset and enjoy working on your own initiative and able to manage your time efficiently. You will be friendly and approachable and enjoy meeting customers. This is ideal for someone who enjoys working under their own initiative in a routine job, for a friendly family based company.

We will provide a van, so you will need to have a full UK driving licence and parking space where you live.

We work with a high-profile hotel chain across the country providing, repairing and servicing the equipment. You will be part of our team of supporting Technicians and Engineers across the country who make sure the equipment is in full working order, diagnose faults, clean the machinery and replace common parts.

What we're looking for

Full training will be given, but Qualifications or relevant experience of maintenance and repair or mechanical engineering would be an advantage Good level of literacy and numeracy Previous experience of equipment installation, fault diagnosis and repair would be advantageous Methodical and mechanical mindset Enjoys meeting customers Good communication skills, written and verbal Able to use a tablet/PDA and IT literate. Ability to work to and achieve performance indicators and outcomes Full UK driving licence - preferably clean
