About the role



As part of the Liverpool Ink Plant Maintenance Team, you will support production and facilities to ensure smooth site operations. Responsibilities include coordinating with external suppliers for technical advice and spare parts, administering the maintenance system to complete tasks on time, and keeping compliance records up to date. You will liaise with production leaders to progress work, assist with projects and installations, and carry out maintenance tasks with some cross-skilling into basic electrical or mechanical work (training provided).



Key Responsibilities Include:


Managing the maintenance system (CMMS - Shire) to complete planned tasks on schedule and resolve reactive work safely to high engineering standards. Offer production support, including fault finding and small project management, assisting where possible to ensure that production runs to plan and on time. Ensure business SHEQ standards are adhered to individually, ensuring appropriate procedures, risk assessments and permit to work procedures are in place and are being followed in accordance. Installing, relocating, and maintaining engineering equipment as required. Undertaking all tasks as required in accordance with standard Domino working practices and quality procedure whilst demonstrating the Domino company values, standards and behaviours.

About you



You're a proactive electronics engineer skilled in analogue/digital design, PCB layout, and system integration. With strong customer service and stakeholder awareness, you prioritise practical solutions, ensure maintenance targets are met, and communicate clearly across teams and with management. You're empathetic under pressure, enjoy mentoring, take ownership of your work, and are committed to learning and delivering high-quality results.



Skills & Qualifications


Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification. Previous experience within chemical manufacturing, blending and filling processes is advantageous. CompEX qualifications or experience of work within Atex atmospheres around the Atex regulations is advantageous. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and maintenance systems. Confident to work independently, seeking assistance as and when appropriate. Willing to develop cross-skills within the maintenance team.
