The Role
React efficiently and effectively to breakdowns across the site.
Competent in Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic disciplines.
Highlighting inefficiencies with machinery and equipment, whilst generating practical solutions.
Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions on industrial/paint plant equipment, Automated production lines, robots, lasers, hydraulic presses (Ideally, this would include experience with PLC controllers, HMI equipment machinery)
Carry out PPMs to maintain asset performance and keeping computerised logs up to date.
Actively participate in root cause analysis activities
Adhering to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
Rotating shift pattern which will include a weekend.
Education/skills/Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or above in an engineering discipline
Experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably with power press, lasers or paint plant.
PLC experience
Ideally qualified to operate a MEWP
18th Edition and Electrical installations/inspection and testing
Personality/character
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Utilise problem solving capabilities and root cause experience to generate practical solutions
Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach.
