Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong general maintenance background and be proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting various systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Developing maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. Support & Implement preventive maintenance programme. Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, public areas and back of house facilities. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Develop working relationships with contractors and service providers. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities. Ensure health and safety and fire policies are complied with. Act fast to resolve emergency issues. Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs. Ensure operation is meeting sustainability goals. Maintain the maintenance contracts and activity logs of periodical inspections. Conduct routine maintenance on Hotel equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a maintenance role. Strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Familiarity with logic controllers is highly desirable. Previous experience with Hotels. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
