About the Role:

The role involves regular interaction with students, staff, and contractors, requiring professionalism, discretion, and a helpful attitude. Key responsibilities include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, prioritising carpentry and joinery works (e.g., doors, windows, furniture, partitions), undertaking minor refurbishment projects, including fitting kitchens, repairing flooring, and constructing bespoke items and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and college policies.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in carpentry and joinery, ideally within a facilities or property maintenance environment and hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery or a related trade.
