RMSpumptools is seeking an ambitious

Maintenance Technician

located in

Malton, UK

. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting the Production department with organising & maintaining test facilities as well as the engineers in the electrical penetrators & connectors engineering division to ensure the safety of the sites and ensure Production equipment is maintained to its full potential.


This role is a part time role - working 3 days per week.

What You Will Do:

To support the Production department with equipment maintenance and improving manufacturing methods. + maintenance of shop floor equipment
+ Performing the Inspection and servicing of production tooling such as but not limited to;
- Pressure pumps,
- Mould tools,
- Airlines,
- Heater boxes
- Compressors
+ Minor site maintenance work.
+ Support the production department in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
+ Work closely with QHSE to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe and controlled manner.
+ Assist the Engineering Department on project work or other areas needing mechanical/electrical intervention

Minimum Qualifications:

HND/equivalent qualification or qualified by experience. Safety first mindset Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems, ideally including PID controllers. Interpersonal qualities, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Willing and able to work as part of a team. Confident and resilient in problem solving, critical thinking and decision making to support continuous improvement.
