Graythwaite Estate is a stunning 5,000-acre estate in the Lake District with 38 holiday cottages and 25+ tenanted properties. We take pride in delivering exceptional standards across our properties, gardens, and facilities, creating a welcoming environment for our residents and guests.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Assist other maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing any maintenance-related concerns from staff or clients promptly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with prior supervising experience considered an asset. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to quality service delivery. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively within the team.
