Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Handyperson to work with our existing team to provide the highest possible standard of service to ensure that our venue operates effectively, efficiently and is presented to the highest standard at all times. The successful candidate will be multi-skilled and flexible in their approach to problem resolution - working with the team to find the best solutions:

Duties will include:

Responsible for the general maintenance of the venue - front and back of house. Undertake both planned and responsive maintenance tasks. Perform maintenance and light repairs including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating. Undertake light installation or carpentry (ie. fitting cabinets and shelving). Repair basic equipment and/or appliances and minor electrical issues. Where necessary, assist contractors with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs. Identify and report the need for major repairs.

Experience:

Previous experience conducting general maintenance in a public venue Competence in basic plumbing, joinery, electrical and painting works Able to lift and carry Organised and able to prioritise tasks with a flexible approach Full driving license
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
