Multi-Trade Carpenter/Plumber (Self-Employed) - Hereford Property Services

Hereford Property Services (HPS) is seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Contractor to join our team on a self-employed basis.

We deliver a wide range of landlord and property maintenance works, with a strong focus on corrective void maintenance and general repair activities. This role will suit someone practical, adaptable and confident working across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

General carpentry and basic plumbing Basic painting and decorating Void and landlord maintenance works Insulation removal and installation Basic carpet and vinyl fitting Supporting wider maintenance and repair works as required Delivering work to agreed standards and timescales
About the Role

Self-employed position Primarily working across Herefordshire (occasional travel/staying away may be required) Monday-Friday, typically 8-10 hour days Occasional weekend work may be available (not mandatory) One-month probation period, leading to ongoing, consistent work for the right candidate Immediate start available
Essential Skills & Experience

Strong multi-trade skills (carpentry and basic plumbing as a minimum) Full UK driving licence Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliability, professionalism and pride in work delivered
Desirable

Experience working in void and maintained properties Own tools and transport
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 140.00-180.00 per day
