We are seeking a

male support worker

to join a

dedicated 2:1 support team

providing high-quality care for a

young gentleman with an acquired brain injury

living in the Exeter area.

About the Role:

You'll be part of a small, consistent team offering

person-centred support

that promotes

independence, safety, and emotional wellbeing

. Your role will include:

Supporting with

daily routines

and personal care Promoting a

healthy lifestyle

and managing food-related behaviours Providing

emotional reassurance

and consistent boundaries Supporting with

activities and hobbies

such as bowling, golf, surfing and fishing and

community access

to an operating farm to aid with wood work, attend physio appointments, go to the gym and spa as well as other day to day requirements. Ensuring a structured, safe, and nurturing environment
This is a

2:1 package

, meaning you'll work alongside another team member during each shift to ensure the best support and safety for the individual.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience or understanding of

Acquired Brain injury

(training can be provided) A calm, empathetic, and patient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to manage challenging behaviours with a consistent and supportive manner A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential) A willingness to be actively involved in helping someone lead a meaningful and fulfilling life

Pay: 15.00-15.50 per hour
