We are currently looking for an experienced team member to support our clients, whose conditions vary from dementia, autism, learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The support will primarily be personal care and assistance around their homes.

Job Responsibilities:
To assist service users in their own homes with general day-to-day tasks such as personal care, washing and dressing, meal preparation, assisting with medications, and accessing the community.
Report any incidents or concerns to management and follow protocol as specified in company policies and procedures.
Befriending service users in a professional capacity, understanding their needs, and helping them to become more independent.
Essential Requirements:
A genuine desire to help others.
Good communication skills - the ability to understand and respond to verbal and nonverbal communication.
Ability to remain calm and manage situations effectively in any time of crisis.
Continuity in carrying out good practice.
Flexible and adaptable.
Driving licence and use of a vehicle for work.
Availability for evening shifts (5pm-10pm, Monday to Friday) and weekends.
Communicating in a friendly, patient manner.
Desirable Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
Training and experience in working with individuals with challenging behaviour.
Counselling skills.
