Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential support and care to individuals in various settings. As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly for those with specific needs such as Autism or behavioural challenges and one to one personal care needs

We are looking for Male support workers to support a younger gentleman in his home in gateshead, Experienced staff who have worked with people who can display behaviours and who have good understanding of autism and other complex needs. The Gentleman will need regular staff team on a three to one support basis, We are looking to build up a regualar staff team to support the service with contiunity of care and support.

Work setting will be in Gateshead and the service user will be looking to move and transition into a new property in the near future - Experince of transitioning support is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide care and support assistance to clients Willing to Support service users with personal care when required Supporting service users out in the community Attending Appointments and Activities Support clients with mobility needs when necessary. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required. Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behaviour. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding any concerns or changes in client condition. Keeping Service Users finance and medication documents up to date Confident with Cooking world foods and a good knowledge of different diatry requirement Temp to Perm Options Full Time Options Part Time Options

Requirements

Previous experience in one to one care and support Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage behaviours compassionately. A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
