Duties
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Providing
home care
services to clients in their own residences.
Providing support to client with Mental health crisis.
Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences through
meal preparation
.
Administering medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication schedules through
medication administration
.
Offering general
patient care
, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living tasks.
Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to relevant professionals.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience in
M
ental Health support or related fields is highly desirable.
A background in
hospice
is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
A caring attitude coupled with the ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions.
