Location: Wokingham, RG41 (Just a 16-minute walk from Winnersh Train Station)
Pay Rate: 12.35 per hour
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 per week)
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while working in a vibrant, supportive environment? We're looking for enthusiastic and proactive Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Wokingham, supporting four amazing gentlemen in their 50s-60s to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Who Will You Be Supporting?
You'll work in a lively registered care home full of activities. Each gentleman has learning disabilities, and some also live with epilepsy. Here's what makes them special:

  • Foodies: Love planning and sharing meals--cooking at home or dining out at the local pub.
  • Active and Engaged: Trips to town on the bus and visits with the "Music Man" make their days exciting.
  • Unique Communication Styles: Three individuals do not use words to communicate and thrive with patient, empathetic support.
This is a home filled with laughter, music, and creativity--a place where every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact.
What Will You Be Doing?
  • Promoting Independence: Assist with personal care, budgeting, meal prep, and shopping.
  • Encouraging Activities: Support outings to the cinema, sensory sessions, and football matches.
  • Providing Tailored Care: Offer specialised support, including PEG feeding for one individual.
  • Maintaining the Home: Help with housework and meal planning.
  • Building Relationships: Work closely with families and team members to create a positive atmosphere.
Shift Patterns
  • Long Days: 8:00am - 8:00pm
Rotas provided in advance for a healthy work-life balance.
