As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by supporting them to engage in activities outside their home. Duties
Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care.
Prepare meals and assist with cooking to meet dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness in living areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and document progress accurately.
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Skills
First aid and CPR certification are essential for ensuring client safety
Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
Proficiency in caregiving tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and patient monitoring.
