International Fish Canners is one of 5 entities working as an overall Group with two major sites; one in Aberdeen and one in Fraserburgh. We are made up of International Fish Canners Ltd (Fraserburgh), Nor-Sea Foods Ltd (Aberdeen and Fraserburgh bases), Nolan Seafoods (Aberdeen), J.Charles (Aberdeen), and D&G Nolan (Aberdeen).

Summary
We are looking for a
Management Accountant
to join our Aberdeen-based finance team, supporting both site operations and wider group reporting.
In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in delivering accurate financial insights, driving process improvements, and supporting the Group Management Accountant with key reporting requirements across the business. You'll also take ownership of the monthly management and processing of our hourly paid employees; an important routine that keeps our operations running smoothly.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Preparation of weekly, monthly reports.
Variance analysis and reporting of product costs.
Preparation and posting of monthly journals and accruals.
Assisting in audits whilst working with external auditors.
Assisting with stock reports and stock counts.
Investigating costs and suggesting cost saving measures.
Undertake process improvement projects and continual review of financial reporting processes.
Creation of product costings.
Management of the hourly paid payroll processing
Provide ad hoc support/holiday cover for the Finance/Commercial and the wider Finance team, including purchase ledger and sales invoicing.
Provide financial support to Senior Managers and Company Directors as required.

FMCG or manufacturing experience.
Experience/ understanding of standard costings.
