Management Accountant - Blandford, Dorset
We're looking for a Management Accountant to join a well-established group of businesses based at their head office in Blandford, Dorset. The company has recently gone through a restructure, and this is a great time to join and play a key role in shaping the future of the finance function.
This role would suit either an experienced Management Accountant or a confident postgraduate who's ready to step up and take ownership of day-to-day finance tasks.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Monitoring and reconciling balance sheets each month
- Leading cashflow reporting and analysis
- Supporting month-end close and year-end accounts prep
- Working closely with Directors, providing financial insight and support
- Covering general finance tasks when needed
- AAT qualified, ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, qualified by experience, or postgraduate finance degree
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly accurate, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines
- Proactive and enthusiastic - someone who's keen to get involved and support the wider team
- Be part of a supportive head office team in Blandford
- Work in a varied role with exposure to all aspects of finance
- Opportunity to make a real impact following a recent business restructure
