Are you a qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) looking to take the next step in your career?



If so, our Investment and Property Management (IPM) department are looking for a Management Accountant to join them within their client accounting team based at our Cambridge Head office in Trumpington, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse portfolio of clients.



Our IPM team plays a vital role in supporting clients with expert financial services. Managing a portfolio of around 60 clients, the team handles over 150 million in rent and 20 million in service charges each year, ensuring accuracy, transparency and efficiency across all accounts.



As a Management Accountant, you'll be part of a busy finance team supporting the delivery of accurate month-end and year-end reporting, VAT returns and client communications. You'll be the main point of contact for a major client, as well as a portfolio of smaller clients, ensuring timely and professional service across the board.

What you'll be doing:





Being the main point of contact for a major client, plus a portfolio of smaller clients ensuring that all reporting is delivered promptly and accurately Supporting in the production of year-end financial statements under the supervision of the head of client accounting and Head of IPM accounts team Producing monthly and quarterly management reports designed to meet specific client requirements with support from junior members of the team Producing reports in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102 Dealing with audit queries Dealing with service charge reconciliations Preparing and reviewing VAT and CIS returns Overseeing treasury management for your portfolio of clients, whilst ensuring monies are sent promptly to client or in high interest accounts

About You:



Essential



Qualified CIMA, ACCA or working towards Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, in particular advanced data manipulation skills within Excel Experience of month end and year end processes in an FRS 102 or IFRS compliant manner Experience of VAT Good client management skills

Desirable



Ideally, successful applicants will be ACCA/CIMA qualified or working towards qualification Real estate sector experience is desirable however not essential
