We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a professional services firm in Chesterfield. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reports and supporting decision-making processes.

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
• Manage cash flow, including monitoring and forecasting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or be working towards one.
