Job Description
KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an excellent client in Cramlington. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate monthly reporting, insightful analysis, and strong financial support across a growing SME. This hands-on role manages the month-end process, budgeting and forecasting cycles, cash flow, and financial controls, while partnering with operational teams to drive performance and support commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Complete month-end close activities: accruals, prepayments, journals, reconciliations
- Produce annual budgets and regular forecasts, with variance analysis and commentary
- Partner with non-finance teams to support pricing, margins, cost control, and business cases
- Monitor cash flow and support working capital management (debtors, creditors, stock)
- Maintain and improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and data accuracy
- Support VAT returns, statutory submissions, year-end accounts, and external audit
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, HMRC, and Companies House requirements
