Are you immediately available, an Accountant and seeking a 3 \xe2\x80\x93 4-month contract role?
Distinct Recruitment is partnering with a PE-backed business in Alfreton to recruit an additional role to their small finance team.
The role is a broad position where you will roll up your sleeves and be involved in:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, posting of journals and balance sheet reconciliation checks.
- Assist the Finance Manager with the management of the business\'s cash position and prepare daily cash forecasting.
- Management and completion of the VAT return liaising with the Group Tax Department.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial accounting tasks and project work.
