Job Description

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a thriving industrial/manufacturing organisation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring effective financial management.

  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Manage budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Oversee cost control measures and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
  • IFRS15 Revenue Recognition knowledge would be advantageous.

  • Qualified Accountant / Newly Qualified Accountant
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data - to include strong Excel ability
  • Ability to present clear and concise financial messages.
  • Solid accounting technical skills
  • Ability to build good stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
  • Any experience gained in a similar Engineering/ Projects environment would be an advantage.
