• Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
• Analyse P&L to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, revaluations, and cost centre reviews.
• Manage cash flow forecasts and flag issues to senior management.
• Produce reports on sales, purchases, cash, and inventory.
• Conduct customer sales GAP analysis and calculate minimum cash requirements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor expenditure and support budget control with cost centre leaders.
• Translate financial data for non-financial managers.
• Support the FD with decision-making and ad hoc projects.
• Assist with audits and reporting.
• Guide and support the transactional finance team.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC regulation

Management Accountant - HeywoodWell-established business offering hybrid working

• Experience owning monthly management accounts
• A part qualified accountant studying towards professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience using SAP - Essential
• Good understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
• Excellent communication / business partnering

We are seeking a proactive, experienced Management Accountant to join an established finance team. You will play a key role in owning full month end processes, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting to support business decisions.
