The College seeks to appoint a Management Accountant to be responsible for the budget process and provide monthly management accounts to review stage. The post holder will also assist with the year-end accounts and statutory audit process and be responsible for reports, analysis and posting of journals relating to all the College's investment properties and reconciliations to budgets.
The ideal candidate will be qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or other equivalent qualification however we would consider QBE for a very strong candidate. Applicants should also have extensive experience in a finance office and experience in management accounting and budgeting. The post is part of a small and friendly team so excellent communication, time management and IT skills are also required.
The position is full-time, 36.25 hours a week and attracts a salary of up 42,029 p.a. (dependant on qualifications and experience) and excellent benefits including contributory pension scheme, lunch when in college, 25 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays), and the use of sports facilities. This role is for maternity cover so is for a fixed period of 1 year with a start date of beginning of September 2025 or earlier
