We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a leading marketing company in their Camden office. The management accountant will be an integral part of the MI team and have complete ownership of the monthly close cycle for defined companies within the Four Group. They will also be responsible for the production of the MI pack to first review stage, with relevant supporting schedules to audit standard.
Main duties and responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of the monthly cycle for defined companies within the group, to include:
• Bank postings & reconciliation.
• Multi-currency Intercompany postings & reconciliation for the allocated companies
• Central cost monthly accrual postings and reconciliation to schedule/budget.
• Periodic Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Preparation of monthly prepayment and accrual schedules for allocated companies.
• Prepare supporting schedules and analysis of variances to budget & prior period results.
• Update system FX rates.
• WIP reconciliation.
• Variance analysis on key P&L items.
• Provide assistance and training to junior members of the team.
• Responsible for the production of the monthly MI pack to first review stage with relevant commentary and backing schedules top audit standard.
• Prepare information, schedules, reconciliations, and commentary for year-end audit.
• Any other duties as directed by Line Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Part Qualified
• 2+ Years experience in a similar role
• Full understanding of monthly close cycle
• Full understanding of Reconciliations, especially banking
• Full understanding of Payables and Receivables process
• Full understanding of Prepayment & Accruals
