This is a newly created role, where you will be joining a dynamic finance team of 4, where you can grow and progress within a role which can and will expand overtime.
The position would suit someone who is partway through an ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification and has some strong management accounting experience, as well as (ideally) an understanding of the financial services sector.
Key duties from the off will include:

• Day-to-day Reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Management accounts preparation
• Financial Planning (Budgeting and Forecasting)
• Maintaining the fixed-asset register
• VAT returns
• Overseeing transactional (AP and AR) finance duties too
• Assisting with Payroll

The ideal candidate for this role, will:

• Be part-way through an ACCA, ACA, CIMA (have at least past a few exams)
• Have good all round experience of month-end processes
• Be comfortable in the preparation of management accounts
• Be happy "rolling up their sleeves" and getting involved with transactional finance duties when needed
• Have excellent Excel skills
• Ideally have some exposure to financial planning- including Budgeting/ Forecasting (desirable)
• Have worked within the Financial Services sector previously (desirable)
