Job Description
Interim Management Accountant role based near Harlow.
- Prepare and review accurate management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the business.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support financial decision-making through detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
- Provide interim support to the wider accounting and finance team.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications or part-qualified status.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a temporary or interim capacity.
- Competitive hourly rate of approximately 19 to 23, dependent on experience.
