Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our client\'s finance team in Ashford, Kent. The role will offer hybrid working with 3 days potentially from home.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and aiding in strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
- Conducting variance analysis and explaining discrepancies to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- A proactive and results-driven attitude.
