Management Accountant
Location: Lincoln
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum
Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a dynamic, fast-growing business recognised for its commitment to excellence and innovation. We're looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic growth.
The role of the Management Accountant
As the Management Accountant, you will work closely with the finance leadership team and take ownership of core financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data
• Managing the general ledger and producing timely, compliant financial statements
• Leading the statutory accounts process from start to finish
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations to maintain integrity of financial records
• Oversee and validate fixed asset capitalization to maintain compliance with organizational policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and managing filings and audits
• Overseeing cash reconciliations, cashflow management, and interest payments
• Acting as key contact for external auditors and coordinating the audit process
• Providing insightful financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making
• Deputising for the Financial Controller when required

The ideal candidate for the role of Management Accountant

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (a finalist will also be considered)
• At least 5 years' experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and execution
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with financial reporting systems
• A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
