Job Description

This London-based FTC Management Accountant role supports a fast-growing FMCG beauty brand with day-to-day finance operations and reporting. It's a hands-on role offering exposure to commercial processes in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.
The key responsibilities of this Management Accountant position will be:

• Oversight of the general ledger.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Month-end reporting package and budget processes
• Assist with Audit requests.
• UK VAT and EU VAT
• Tax compliance
• Coordination with our tax experts in our countries of operation
• Inventory and production, in collaboration with the cost controller
• Inventory reconciliation
• COGS analysis
• Gross Margin analysis by customer
• Weekly cash flow reports
• Review and Submission of payments run
• Ensure all customers are invoiced in due time
• Cash collection
• Review of A/P invoices booked in the system (GL, coding, analytics)
• Validation of raised POs (fixed assets, from an accounting perspective)
• Fixed assets
• Fixed asset management (FA register, capitalisation, depreciation)
• Other ad hoc duties

The successful Management Accountant should have:

• 5 years + in a similar accountancy role
• Experienced in dealing with tax and VAT queries.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central Dynamics
• Multitasking and open to additional responsibilities
• Proactivity and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Respect of strict deadlines and processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
