I am working supporting an established Global Legal Firm who are looking to take on an experienced Management Accountant. This is a newly created position in the team, that will require a hands-on, confident Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller and Finance Manager.
Main role responsibilities -

• Supporting with the month-end reporting process, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Posting of journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Liaising with various stakeholders and auditors.
• VAT returns.
• Producing high-quality financial analysis supported with relevant data.
• Introducing system improvements and streamlining processes.
• An understanding of SAR - Solicitor Accounting Rules is ideal.
• Supporting the team with new ideas on general process and process improvement.
• Coding and approval of supplier invoices.

Candidates applying need to have or be currently studying towards their ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications. Management accounting experience within a legal firm is ideal as the role requires someone who can hit the ground running. A strong communicator, the ability to build interpersonal relationships, with good time management skills and the ability to work well under a pressure. You will be working closely with regional teams therefore strong collaboration is key. With long term tenure in the organisation the team are able to support one another and are established enough to help the growth of individuals. The successful candidate will be required in the office 3 days a week based in Central London, with great connections to London and it's surrounding areas.
