Management Accountant | Trafford, Manchester | \xc2\xa345,000 - \xc2\xa350,000 |

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with an exciting business in Trafford who have created a vacancy in their team for a Management Accountant. This is a culture driven business who\'s customers include some of the most recognisable brands in the UK.

The scope of this role will grow over time as you develop your skills and experience but some of your key responsibilities include:

• Producing and being responsible for a variety of gross profit and overhead P&L cost centres and producing their monthly management accounts
• Production of management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis and other supporting schedules)
• Detailed variance analysis including narrative (actuals vs budget vs forecast vs prior year)
• Full ownership of balance sheet including preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with quarterly P&L forecasting, budgets and 5 year plans
• Posting consolidated invoice journals/prepayments/accruals and various other month end journals
• Supporting wider finance team and senior leadership with ad hoc improvment projects and reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and systems
• Monthly meetings with the Exec team and P&L owners to discuss performance

Person specification:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) however QBE candidates will also be considered
• Attention to detail and enthusiasm to challenge and improve processes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
• Competent Excel skills
