As a Management Accountant, you will prepare, consolidate and present financial information so that the leadership team have reliable figures on which to base their critical strategic decisions. In this role you will also be responsible for managing the month end process with the aim to reduce the close period by as much as possible.

A little about you...

Experience with management accounts Experience in a pace fast finance/accounts department Previous exposure to SaaS would be beneficial Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) Strong level of Microsoft Excel Good understanding of double-entry book-keeping and other basic accounting principles High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to plan and organise workload Able to use own initiative to solve problems Good communication skills and work well in a team environment

About the role...

Assisting with the completion of monthly Group management accounts Preparation and review of the monthly analysis pack Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations including accruals and prepayments Assist in the preparation of the weekly cash flow Intercompany postings and reconciliation for 3 entities Assisting with the expenses and credit card management system Submitting VAT returns Support and assist in dealing with US tax entries, both sales and corporation tax Providing cover for the processing of sales and raising sales invoices when necessary Supporting on the year end audit, resolving queries with accompanying evidence etc Reviewing internal processes and controls leading to improvements Assist the Finance Manager and the wider team with ad-hoc tasks
