The purpose of University of Manchester Worldwide (UMW) is to enable the expansion of online, blended, and transnational education, by providing the expertise in bringing programmes to market. UMW provides a central service to the wider University, enabling the delivery of a significant growth in online, blended, and transnational education. The University of Manchester is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the UMW Finance Team who are responsible for the complete oversight of the financial performance of all activities that UMW incorporates including liaising with Schools, Faculties and Central University teams as appropriate. The role includes responsibility for the financial management of both UK University activity along with UK and international subsidiary entities and branches. The post holder will work with colleagues both within the University and international centres to deliver a high-quality finance service to stakeholders. The delivery of this service will maximise our ability to financially plan, manage and monitor performance and sustainability. The post holder will be expected to be customer focused, flexible in their approach, and to work in conjunction with other finance colleagues, covering for and relating with them in order to develop and enhance the role.
